To optimize the transportation of oversized cargo and ensure fast delivery to the destination, it is most beneficial to use FlatRack containers. These containers simplify the loading and unloading processes, allowing you to efficiently deliver goods in the shortest possible time.

Features of Flatrack containers

One of the defining features of Flatrack is its non-standard design of the transportation container. Although it looks like a regular universal container, it differs in that it has an incomplete upper frame. To strengthen the structure, removable longitudinal beams are used instead of conventional stiffeners. The container has four upper and lower fittings in the corners, as well as fork holes and pick-up devices, which greatly facilitate transportation by any type of transport. Typically, rail, road or sea transport is used to transport a container with cargo. The bottom consists of several layers of plywood, which ensures the strength and reliability of the container for storing cargo.

Types of Flatrack containers

Containers are divided according to the features of the platform module:

Collapsible Ends FlatRack (FlatRack with folding ends) has extended functionality, as its end walls can be easily folded. This allows for efficient loading and unloading of goods with maximum convenience and speed.
Fixed Ends FlatRack has fixed side walls, which increases the degree of rigidity of fixing the load on the platform. This helps to ensure stability during transportation.
Platform has no end or side walls. It is usually used for storing goods where the main need is spatial accessibility for easy loading and unloading.

The Flatrack container is suitable for:

Transportation of any equipment;
Transportation of specialized industrial and construction equipment;
Transportation of bulky goods that are larger than a standard 20-foot container.

The hemp processing machine was loaded into a container, ensuring its safety and stable position during transportation. Our specialists resolved all issues related to customs clearance in advance to avoid delays at the border. The container with the machine was delivered to the port, where it was ready to be loaded onto the ship. The container with the machine was successfully loaded onto the vessel, meeting all safety and stability requirements. Upon arrival in the port of Tema, the container with the machine was unloaded from the vessel and its delivery to the recipient was organized. Despite the exotic destination, our specialists coped with all stages of the process, ensuring the successful delivery of the cannabis processing machine to Ghana.

Delivery process

The difficulty was that we had to pick up the cargo before the New Year holidays, in a very short time, so we were looking for cars in units from different carriers. We found 28 vehicles, some of which were designed to transport oversized cargo. The trucks made their way from Italy to Ukraine, and customs clearance was carried out at the border with Poland to enter the destination country.

Delivery process

Since the beginning of 2020, we have been exporting and organizing the delivery of towers (legs) for wind turbines. Over the past few years, we have transported more than a dozen products of various sizes. For delivery, we used both tilt-top trucks and platforms for the transportation of oversized cargo. All the necessary details were taken into account on the route from Kyiv region to Denmark (different cities), including customs clearance for entry into the destination country.

Ensure the delivery of three large generators from Istanbul to Odesa. Ensure the safety of the cargo and compliance with the delivery time.

Given the size and weight of the generators, specialized vehicles for oversized cargo were used. Customs clearance was done in advance to avoid delays at the border. Thanks to careful planning and coordination, the delivery was made quickly, so the customers were satisfied with the service.

Delivery process

Buses are large-sized objects that require a special approach to transportation and loading. Therefore, the delivery took place by sea from China to Ukraine using a Ro-Ro vessel. After arriving at the port, the buses were loaded onto low-frame trawls with the help of qualified specialists. At the border, the customs clearance necessary for the buses to enter Ukraine was carried out.

Delivery process

The delivery required a multimodal approach, starting with sea transportation, which caused difficulties due to the tight deadlines. After unloading in the port, the goods were transported by land to Ukraine. The peculiarity of this task was the full loading of the container, which contained 7 forklifts that were on the move and were attached with wooden bars under the wheels for safe transportation.

Delivery of artificial grass from Poland to Ukraine

Delivery process

The artificial grass was loaded into a container in China, adhering to all safety and stability conditions during transportation. Our specialists took care of all customs clearance aspects in advance to avoid any delays at the border. The container with artificial grass was delivered to a warehouse in Poland, where it was unpacked.

To save our client's costs, it was decided to transfer the artificial grass to a tarpaulin truck. During this process, 24 straps and 20 support beams were used to ensure the integrity of the cargo after repackaging.

The tarpaulin truck with artificial grass successfully crossed the border and delivered the cargo to the recipient in Ukraine, meeting all safety and stability requirements.

Our specialists successfully completed all stages of multimodal transportation, ensuring timely and secure delivery of artificial grass from China to Ukraine.
